How to Apply & Reuse

HOW TO APPLY HOW TO REMOVE & REUSE

Beautiful nails in minutes—and ready to wear again.

Follow these simple steps for a secure, comfortable fit, then learn how to gently remove, care for, and reuse your Luminails.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Each Luminails set includes:

  • 10 handmade press-on nails
  • Adhesive tabs
  • Manicure stick
  • Sponge buffer
  • Nail file
  • Alcohol prep pads

HOW TO APPLY

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Start with clean, completely dry hands.

Wash your hands with soap and dry them thoroughly. Avoid applying hand cream, cuticle oil, or other moisturizing products before application, as they may reduce adhesion.

1. CHECK THE FIT

Place each press-on nail over the matching finger to check the fit. Each Luminails set includes one nail for each finger.

If a nail feels slightly too wide, gently file the side edges until it fits comfortably.

Tip: File the sides only, using one or two gentle strokes at a time.

2. PREP YOUR NAILS

Proper preparation helps your press-on nails stay secure and last longer.

PUSH BACK YOUR CUTICLES

Use the manicure stick to gently push back your cuticles and clear the surface of the natural nail.

BUFF AWAY THE SHINE

Lightly buff the surface of each natural nail until no shiny spots remain. Use gentle pressure and avoid over-buffing.

CLEAN WITH ALCOHOL

Wipe each nail thoroughly with the alcohol prep pad to remove dust, oils, and residue. Allow your nails to dry completely before continuing.

Important: Do not touch the nail surface after cleaning.

3. APPLY THE ADHESIVE

Choose an adhesive tab that fits your natural nail without touching the surrounding skin.

Place the adhesive tab in the center of the nail, then press firmly from the middle toward the edges to remove any air bubbles.

Optional tip: Warm the adhesive tab with a hairdryer for approximately five seconds to help strengthen the hold.

4. APPLY THE PRESS-ON NAIL

HOLD AT A 45° ANGLE

Hold the press-on nail at approximately a 45-degree angle, with the back edge positioned close to the cuticle.

LEAVE A TINY GAP

Leave a tiny border of adhesive visible between the press-on nail and your cuticle. The press-on nail should not sit directly on your skin.

SLIDE BACK & PRESS DOWN

Gently slide the press-on nail back into position while pressing it down onto your natural nail.

Make sure the nail is straight and properly aligned before applying firm pressure.

5. HOLD FOR 10 SECONDS

Repeat the same steps for the rest of your nails.

AFTER APPLICATION

For the best wear, avoid contact with water for the first two hours after application.

  • Avoid prolonged soaking in water.
  • Wear gloves when cleaning or washing dishes.
  • Avoid using your nails to open cans, packages, or other objects.

HOW TO REMOVE & REUSE

Remove gently. Store carefully. Wear them again.

Careful removal helps protect both your natural nails and your Luminails, allowing the press-on nails to be cleaned, stored, and reused.

1. SOAK TO LOOSEN

Fill a small bowl with warm, soapy water and soak your fingertips for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

A few drops of cuticle oil or hand oil may be added to help soften the adhesive.

Important: Never force or pull the press-on nails off.

2. GENTLY LIFT FROM THE SIDES

Starting from one side, gently work the manicure stick around the edge of the press-on nail.

Move slowly around the sides until the nail begins to release naturally.

If you feel resistance: Stop and soak the nail again before continuing.

3. REMOVE THE OLD ADHESIVE

Once the press-on nail has been removed, gently roll or peel the softened adhesive away from the back of the nail using your fingertip or the manicure stick.

Avoid aggressively scraping, filing, or damaging the underside of the press-on nail.

Important: Do not use acetone or harsh nail polish remover on your Luminails, especially on decorated or embellished designs.

4. CLEAN & DRY

Gently wipe the press-on nails with a soft, slightly damp cloth if needed.

Place them design-side up on a clean towel and allow them to dry completely before storing.

Keep embellished nails separated while drying to help prevent scratching or damage.

5. STORE FOR NEXT TIME

Return each press-on nail to its original case to protect its shape, finish, and design.

Keeping the nails organized by finger will make your next application faster and easier.

6. WEAR THEM AGAIN

When you are ready to reuse your Luminails, repeat the nail-preparation steps and apply them using a fresh set of adhesive tabs.

Always use fresh adhesive tabs for every application.

The number of times each set can be reused will depend on how it is worn, removed, cleaned, and stored.
